Martha is Dead Game Review

What happens if, one day, at once, you were to discover you’re really one of the faces of a stranger? Would you trust yourself?
Martha is Dead is a profound psychological thriller told in first third person. It is full of moody and depressing tones, and a mixture of superstition, history and psychological distress.
Unexpected deaths as well as the ferocity of war could sever the already precarious equilibrium of the protagonist leaving a deep scar in her personal life.
The setting is Italy, Tuscany countryside (south of the Gothic line) in 1944, during the withdrawal of German army, and during the Ally progress.
